Yi Ning Chiu is a second-year PhD student at the Graduate Institute of Human Resource Management, College of Management, National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Her advisor, Dr. Nai-Wen Chi, is a Distinguished Professor and Director at the same institue.

Prior to pursuing her PhD, she earned a Master's degree in Human Resource Management and Employment Relations from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, U.K., and a Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations from National Chung Cheng University in Taiwan.

Yi Ning's research interests lie in strategic human resource management, family business governance, and strategic management, with a particular focus on pay dispersion in family businesses. She has drawn inspiration from her work experience at the HR consulting firm and believes that in-depth research can facilitate positive changes in practices.
